Stewart Audio Announces Subcompact Power Amp for AV Market
Mountain View, California – June 2009 – Stewart Audio announces the AV25, an economical and versatile power amplifier that fits into the palm of your hand. The AV-25 is a two channel class D power amplifier, designed to drive both 4 & 8 Ohm outputs at 35W and 25W respectively. This subcompact package weighs less than .5 lbs and is design to fit where traditional amplifiers won’t. The AV-25 is Plenum rated for above ceiling installations, may be recessed in lecterns, pole mounted, and attached behind flat panel displays. The flexible mounting options make it ideal for hospitality applications, boardrooms and classrooms with AV projection systems. The energy efficient design only powers the amplifier when a signal is present.
Like all Stewart products the AV-25 is designed for sonic accuracy, high efficiency, low power consumption and extended duty cycles. The rear panel has LEDs for power, signal presence, clipping and recessed gain controls. Features include fire alarm mute, balanced/unbalanced input and external power supply. The AV-25 is designed and manufactured in the USA and is covered by a 3 year warranty.
