High-quality video resolution is now available on the TAIDEN Multimedia Terminal, the pioneering all-in-one solution combining a conferencing microphone system with a video distribution system. The ability to encode video source and display it on the same device that is used for audio allows to overcome line-of-sight issues experienced in some venues, reduces the number of devices in front of each user, and makes programing and physical installation a lot easier for integrators.
“Installations that use high definition cameras do not want to loose that crisp image and integrators must take care to use equipment that will maintain a high quality resolution” says Wesley Sutliff, Technical Product Manager with Media Vision, “The TAIDEN encoders, especially the newly released HCS-8316HDMI, offer this ability to keep the highest fidelity”. TAIDEN series of encoders now allow encoding and network transmitting of HDMI, SDI, VGA and AV signals.
Being able to take any video source and encode it to be displayed on the 10” touch-screen of the Multimedia Terminal – with up to 10 unique video sources available to all terminals simultaneously – is an exclusive TAIDEN feature explaining the success of the solution in a variety of environments such as council chambers, boardrooms and in auditoriums particularly at the podium position. The solution will be on display at InfoComm, Media Vision booth #C9540.
