The 474-BBX balanced audio card provides superior noise reduction using space saving TRS connectors. Whether you work with music or sound for video, this new card gives you the professional-grade audio quality and flexibility to integrate balanced audio sources with all of the vario series of HD-KVM extenders supporting DVI, HDMI or DisplayPort. Many professional audio installations are use to working with balanced audio and the advantages it offers for superior noise reduction. The 474-BBX balanced audio card delivers a cleaner, higher quality signal which is particularly important for low signal level devices such as microphones when extended over long cable lengths. This audio upgrade card easily attaches to any vario main board and can be paired to extend signals up to 140m with Cat5e/6 or up to 10km with singlemode fiber. Both transmitter and receiver modules are equipped with two 1?4 inch (TRS) audio jack ports for microphones and electric instruments. Each port features a separate DIP switch to enable an internal preamplifier. The card offers preamplification of the microphone devices allowing gain configuration from 10 to 65 dB. Sample rate configuration can also be set to support 32 to 192 kHz. Users can adjust sample-rate and preamp via the mini-USB configuration port found on the front of the card. Another feature of the 474-BBX is its support for condenser style microphones popular for producing high-quality audio signals in recording studios. The transmitter (CPU) module can be set to support phantom power via an internal selectable +48V phantom power option. Condenser microphones are the ideal choice for capturing vocals and acoustic instruments and, with the 474-BBX balanced audio card, compliment the high quality KVM video transmission produced by IHSE USA’s vario series of long distance extender solutions. The 474-BBX balanced audio card attaches to any vario series of base-board extender cards supporting DVI-I, DVI-D, Dual Link DVI, HDMI, or DisplayPort. The card assembly fits all vario 2-bay enclosures and 4-bay enclosures.
