PITTSBURGH, PA – June 14, 2017 – Black Box (NASDAQ:BBOX), the trusted digital partner for global connectivity solutions and technology expertise, today announced it will demonstrate a KVM and control room management application for its DKM and Agility high-performance KVM systems based on the ControlBridge™ control system. The application enhances solution value and ease of deployment though an automatic set up process that eliminates the need for custom programming.
Based on an auto-discovery procedure that locates all transmitters and receivers in the KVM matrix, this application produces an intuitive user interface that can control all the transmitters and receivers on a KVM system straight out of the box within minutes of installation. In addition, without the need for programing, a user can control all connectivity including switching any source to any receiver, change KVM user access modes, create preset configurations, and support individual user desktops. The user interface can be operated from a dedicated touch panel, from mobile devices such as iPads and Android tablets, and from Windows laptops or desktop PCs.
The ControlBridge control system offers options for device control including Ethernet, IR, serial, digital I/O and relays. The control room application is the first of multiple value-added applications planned for ControlBridge, which is already used in control rooms for control of high-performance KVM switches, video walls, multi-viewers, and video switches.
